Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 16, 2025

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website at https://boostme.design (the "Website"). BoostMe is operated by ProductHow Labs LLC ("BoostMe", "we", "us", or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about our practices. As a global service, we strive to comply with major privacy regulations, including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and other similar laws.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect or store any personal information directly when you browse our Website. However, our Website is built using Framer, which may set essential and analytics cookies. We use these to understand visitor behaviour and improve performance. You can opt out of non-essential cookies via the cookie banner. This Website is informational only and does not include login, comment, or submission features. For more details on embedded tools and analytics, see Section 5.

3. Community Platform and User Accounts

If you join our design education community or access paid Boosters, you'll be redirected to boostmedesign.community, hosted by Circle.

Your personal data on that platform (such as name or email) is collected and processed under Circle Privacy Policy. While we do not control data stored on Circle, we may access limited information if you engage with our community or courses. If you submit information via Notion forms (e.g., for feedback or contact), your data is stored in accordance with Notion’s Privacy Policy.

4. Payments and Financial Information

We use Polar, a platform built on Stripe, to securely process payments. We do not store any payment or billing information ourselves. All financial data is handled securely according to the Polar Privacy Policy.

5. Data Collection via Embedded Tools

We may collect personal data via Notion Forms (e.g., name, email), depending on user interaction. Submission of such forms is voluntary and handled by Notion's infrastructure. Please refer to Notion Privacy Policy. We also use analytics tools and cookies to understand general usage patterns. These are provided via Framer and third-party analytics services.

6. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our Website is hosted on Framer and may use essential cookies and analytics cookies. We use a cookie banner to allow users to opt out of non-essential cookies where required (e.g., in the EU). Framer offers region-based cookie banner options to ensure basic compliance.

7. Third-Party Services

We may share and process user data through trusted third parties only when necessary to provide our services:

  • Circle (community accounts)

  • Notion (forms)

  • Polar (payments)

  • Analytics tools (performance and usage insights)

We do not share user data with advertisers or for third-party marketing purposes.

8. Data Security

While we do not collect or process data directly on this Website, we rely on third-party platforms such as Circle, Stripe, and Polar, which follow robust security standards (e.g., encryption, access controls, and monitoring). In the event of a data breach, those platforms are responsible for their own incident response under their terms and privacy policies.

9. Your Rights

If you are in the EU, California, or any region with data privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to your data

  • Request updates or deletions

  • Opt out of certain types of processing

For user data stored by Circle, Notion or Polar, please refer to their policies or use their tools. We are happy to assist via email: support@boostme.design.

10. Data Retention

We do not control the retention period for data stored by third-party services. Please refer to Circle and Polar for their policies on how long they retain your data after account deletion or subscription cancellation.

11. Children’s Privacy

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on BoostMe and use the Services. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the minimum legal age (13 or 16 depending on jurisdiction). If you believe we have collected data from a child under the applicable minimum age without parental consent, please contact us to request deletion.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes include, but are not limited to, new data collection or processing practices, significant changes to third-party services, or changes in legal requirements. When such changes occur, we may notify you via a banner on our Website or by email if applicable. Continued use of the Website after these updates will be considered acceptance of the revised policy.
